Did you know an herbal tea is technically not really tea? That was something I’ve learned in the past couple of months. Brands use the term ‘herbal tea’ for simplicity sake, I imagine, but herbal infusion is a more correct term. Anyhow, Raspberry Zinger was surprisingly tasty. The raspberry flavour was real and very prominent, and it did indeed have some zing to it. Its aroma is quite pleasant and fresh smelling.
This one’s good hot or cold, though I favoured it hot. If you find it a little too tart, some sugar won’t go amiss. It sweetens well and makes for a very enjoyable caffeine free cup.
Raspberry Zinger’s ingredients are hibiscus, rosehips, roasted chicory, orange peel, blackberry leaves, natural raspberry flavour with other natural flavours, raspberries and raspberry leaves.
Bottom line: An enjoyable herbal infusion if you’re keen on berries.
