Lavender Butterfly by The Great Canadian Tea Company is a flavourful floral green tea. Ultra high in antioxidants and low in caffeine, this tea smells like a day at the spa and makes for a lovely relaxing cup. The aroma from this blend filled my kitchen with the beautiful fresh fragrance of lavender.

With some experimenting, I’ve come to the conclusion that this tea is better suited to a shorter steeping time. Left too long, the flavour can become quite concentrated and astringent. A shorter steeping time keeps it more mellow, but still very flavourful.
