Peach Mango by Lipton tea is very fragrant. As soon as I removed the cellophane from the box I could easily smell the fruity aroma. These boxes contain 20 sachets each, and each of those sachets is individually wrapped in a paper envelope. The envelopes that these Lipton herbals are in are not entirely sealed, so aromas are not sealed in. The drawback of this is that if you have an open box lying around for a lengthy period of time, I fully expect it’ll lose freshness over time.

That said, the teabags themselves are fairly standard, appearing to be paper with a tag featuring the Lipton logo attached with a string. The tag is attached to the teabag itself with a tiny square of tape. This caught me a little off guard, as most bagged teas I use don’t feature this.

After trying Summer Fruits I raised my expectations for Peach Mango a bit. I personally love a good peach flavour, but I’ve had some experiences with artificial tasting flavours in recent memory that have been quite disappointing, so I was bearing that in mind while trying this.

As with Summer Fruits, I steeped Peach Mango for a good 5 minutes and noticed the aroma wasn’t quite as strong as I expected, which was actually a good thing. I had been expecting it might end up overpowering, but it was more on the subtle end, which suited me well. Tasting Peach Mango unsweetened, I found it a little bitter, but fairly smooth. With sweetening it began to shine as a simple, tropical melange. The flavour is not abundant. If you’re like me, you might want to either keep the teabag in your cup for an extended amount of time, or perhaps try two bags at once. There’s a pretty good balance between the flavours, however. I only wish the flavour was more pronounced.

I would give Peach Mango 3.5/5 stars.
